This lesson is designed for a 1st grade class to discuss the importance of making safe choices and understanding the risks of self-harm. Through a guided discussion and engaging activities, students will learn how to express their feelings and seek help when needed. The lesson will take place in one 20-minute session and includes a lesson plan, slide deck, warm-up, and activity.
This two-part lesson series introduces 4th-grade students to the importance of using anti-racist language, fostering an inclusive and respectful classroom environment. Through engaging activities and discussions, students will learn how words can impact others and the significance of embracing diversity in their everyday interactions. Each session is designed to be 20 minutes long, empowering students with the skills to communicate thoughtfully and inclusively.
This two-session workshop is designed for parents to understand and address school avoidance in their children. It will provide strategies and insights to help parents support their children in overcoming this challenge, fostering a positive attitude towards school. Each session will last 60 minutes and is aimed at providing group support for parents dealing with similar issues.
