Welcome to Community Helpers!

Introduce the lesson with a warm, friendly welcome. Highlight that today we'll explore different jobs and meet community helpers. Emphasize the importance of every job in our town.

Meet Our Community Helpers

Show pictures or simple icons of some community helpers (doctor, firefighter, teacher, farmer). Use simple terms to describe what each role does. Ask the students if they know any of these helpers.

Let's Pretend and Play!

Introduce the role-playing activity. Explain that the students will get to act like these community helpers. Encourage them to think about how they can help others, just like these important jobs do.

Storytime: Jobs Around Town

Transition into the storytime portion. Explain that a story will show us more about how different jobs help our town, and then ask engaging questions afterwards.

Our Big Community
