Welcome to Sounds and Letters

Introduce the topic with enthusiasm. Emphasize that letters make sounds and sounds make words! Engage the student by asking if they can hear the sound of each letter.

Letter Sounds

Show images of letters with corresponding objects that start with that letter. Encourage the student to repeat the sound aloud.

Demonstrate the connection between letters and sounds. Use engaging visuals and perhaps a short clip if available. Ask the student to point to letters as they hear the sound.

Recap and Celebrate

Recap what was learned. Ask the student to say a few letter sounds and acknowledge their progress. Encourage them to enjoy playing with words.
