Welcome to 'Keep Going, Keep Growing!'

Begin the lesson with excitement. Emphasize the ideas of trying hard and using our imagination with dolls to act out perseverance. Encourage the students to share their own ideas of how dolls can help tell stories of never giving up.

What is Perseverance?

Explain the meaning of perseverance in a simple way, and mention that our dolls will be our helpers in showing us what it means to keep going.

Session 1: Story Time & Doll Exploration

During Session 1, while using the Perseverance Storybook, show the dolls. Explain that the dolls will participate in the story and help bring it to life as they face challenges together.

Session 2: Imaginative Play & Role-Playing

Transition to Session 2 with a focus on imaginative play. Emphasize that students will use the dolls to act out scenarios that show perseverance and teamwork.

Session 3: Reflection & Creative Expression

For Session 3, guide students to reflect on their experiences using dolls. Ask them to share what their dolls did and how it relates to real-life perseverance.
