Introduce the lesson with enthusiasm. Mention how today we will use colors and words to express our feelings. Highlight that we will discuss feelings both in English and Spanish to make everyone feel included.

Key Emotions / Emociones Clave

Discuss key vocabulary on emotions. Provide examples in both English and Spanish to ensure linguistic inclusivity. Encourage students to repeat after you.

Our Post-it Notes Activity

Instruct students about the post-it note activity. Remind them to think of an emotion they've felt recently and write or draw it. Explain the 'Feelings in Full Color' board.

Discussion & Reflection

Facilitate a reflective discussion by asking students how expressing their feelings helps us. Make sure every student, including Spanish speakers, is invited to share.
