Affirmation Creation Workshop
Create personal affirmations
In this lesson, students will learn how to create personal affirmations to boost their self-esteem and promote a positive outlook. This activity is important as it helps students start their day with positivity, which is vital for facing everyday challenges. Step 1
Introduction to Affirmations
5 minutes

- Discuss how affirmations can help improve self-esteem and outlook.
Step 2
Guided Affirmation Creation
10 minutes
- Distribute post-it notes and pens to each student.
- Ask students to think about a positive quality or goal they want to focus on.
- Guide them to write a personal affirmation that reflects this quality or goal.
- Encourage creativity and personal expression in their affirmations.
Step 3
Reflection and Sharing
5 minutes
- Invite students to share their affirmations with the class if they feel comfortable.
- Discuss how they felt writing their affirmations and how they might use them in their daily lives.
- Encourage students to place their affirmations somewhere visible to remind them daily.
